PRIVACY
ASTERIA is built to know as little about you as possible. This page lists the few pieces of data that move, and where they go.
No account
There is nothing to sign up for. The free instrument never asks for a name, an email address or a login. Buying COSMOS does not create an account either — you simply receive a key.
No tracking
The plugin contains no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, and no network access apart from the single activation request described below. This website has no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or third-party scripts; the only outside resource is the Josefin Sans typeface loaded from Google Fonts, which is subject to Google's privacy policy.
Activation
When you press ACTIVATE, the plugin sends your license key to the ASTERIA license server, which checks it and returns a signed token. That token is stored on your computer, in your user Application Support folder, and the plugin does not contact the server again unless you deactivate and re-activate. No audio, no project data and no personal information leaves your machine.
Purchases
Payment is handled entirely by the checkout provider linked from the buy button, under its own privacy policy. I never see your card details. I receive your email address and order number so that I can send the key and handle refunds, and I keep them only for that purpose.
Support email
Messages sent to are kept for as long as they are useful for helping you, and used for nothing else.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
