What do I need?

A Mac with macOS 11 or later (Apple silicon or Intel), or a 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 PC, and a host that loads VST3 (or AU on the Mac) plugins. A standalone app is included on both, so you can also play it without a DAW.

How do I install on Windows?

Unzip the download and keep the ASTERIA folder together — it holds the plugin, the standalone app and the sound library. Copy ASTERIA.vst3 into C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 and the samples folder into C:\ProgramData\ASTERIA\samples (or simply keep everything in one folder and point your DAW at it), then rescan. Windows may show a SmartScreen notice the first time; choose More info → Run anyway.

Is the installer safe to open on macOS?

Yes — the installer is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so it opens and installs normally.

What's the difference between free and COSMOS ◆?

Free gives you two sounds and every control, forever. COSMOS adds seven more sounds — and any sounds added later — for a one-time US$25. In the free version you can audition each COSMOS sound for 45 seconds at a time.

How does the unlock work?

After purchase you get a license key by email. Open ASTERIA, press UNLOCK, paste it. It's checked once online and then works offline, on every Mac you personally use.

Can I use it in my own releases?

Yes — anything you make with ASTERIA is yours, commercial or not. No credit needed.
